I hope this is the thing that finally gets Julia Fox cancelled because wtf? Someone getting their brains blown out in front of the entire nation shouldn't be your top choice for a HALLOWEEN costume? It's completely tone def, ignorant & lacks compassion. This woman is a weirdo and always has been. 👋🏽

Tuesdays are a battlefield.

Mars was the Roman god of war.

The Germanic equivalent was Tīw or Tiu (Norse = Tyr).

This is why today is called ‘Tuesday.’

And why it’s mardi/martes/martedì in the Romance Languages.

Not going to see the new "I Know What You Did Last Summer" in theaters only because they spoiled who the killer was in the scene below from the trailer 😞

💙📚 Hit my 12-book reading goal for 2025, six months early! 12 isn’t a massive number, but as someone getting back into the habit, it feels like a big win. Hoping to keep the momentum going & knock out 12 more by year’s end 🤞🏽

"Project Hail Mary" by Andy Weir (Novel)
⭐ Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐½ (4.5/5)
🧪 Mood: Emotional, clever

Rare mix of charm, stakes & heart that hit me harder than expected. Wrapped it the same day the trailer dropped. Cosmic. Highly recommend.

Jeremy's review of Project Hail Mary
5/5: 4.5 out of 5 stars Project Hail Mary is a smart, heartfelt, and unexpectedly emotional rollercoaster. I read The Martian back in 2015 and enjoyed it, but I honestly think this is Andy Weir’s bes...

I haven't been to a #RedLobster in ages but I definitely won't be back until that seafood boil is gone. I do not want to see you mfers slurping on crab legs, lobster tails, & corn on the cob all while butter is running down your chins as I'm trying to enjoy my salmon feast 👋🏽🤣🦞

A herring is a fish.

When a herring is preserved by salting and smoking, it turns red and smells.

It's so pungent that it's a great diversion to distract hunting dogs from their trail.

Now, a ‘red herring’ refers to anything that diverts attention from the issue at hand.

"Lolita" by Vladimir Nabokov (Novel)
⭐ Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)
😵‍💫 Mood: Lyrical, disturbing

Beautifully written & deeply disorienting. Even the book’s experts get dazzled by the prose & miss the harm. I’ll never read this again (won’t forget it).

The Last Showgirl (Film) | Rating: ⭐⭐½☆☆☆ (2.5/5)

“You don’t get to decide when my story ends.” Dreamy visuals, hollow story. Anderson & Curtis shine but it all leads to nothing. Gia Coppola borrows her aunt Sofia’s style but forgets the soul.

⭐ Rating: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5)
