The AZ Cardinals logo is kinda terrible.
Lemme know which one is these you’d want to see me expand into a modern branding system.

There are runs of comics that I only look for when I’m doing a convention - it makes the shows fun for me as a collector & keeps them from becoming a strictly commercial endeavor. This past Heroes, I was finally able to complete my run of the PanderBros Comico run on Grendel

My grandfather (right) was 34 and a father of five when the US entered WWII. He joined the US Navy and piloted landing craft and manned an anti-aircraft gun in the Pacific. It wasn’t until yesterday that I saw the stark age contrast between him and his much younger (possibly teenage) shipmates.

Very little effort has been put in to obfuscating the underlying intentions of the ruling party, but the manner in which they are currently mocking their resistance is bald-faced and bold beyond contempt! Please, somebody explain this away or show me how I'm over-reacting.

Lou Fine is on my Mt Rushmore of comic artists!
I actually had a good conversation with Todd about Lou Fine many, many years ago - it was great to hear his appreciation for Fine.

In the first version, I cartooned my way into undermining the depth I had created with the environment. It’s not “bad” per se, but was just incongruent enough to drive me crazy - so I patched and fixed it. I am much happier with this result.

I have the hardest time drawing this angle of a masked head - this is the second patch I’ve made to fix the first time I screwed it up. Art is always a battle!

No one can experience the narrative, themes, or ethos of your work if they don’t first pick it up and open it. All aspects of your marketing (including your cover) should beg for further investigation. Once that attention is captured, THEN you create emotional engagement.

SWEATIN THE SMALL STUFF: spent a good bit of time on a background that 70% of will be obscured by figures when finished - still, I love the look of this empty room and the reality it implies.
