The contrast between the Mamdani mayoral campaign across the Hudson and Sherrill’s anemic campaign is striking. The saddest part is that when Sherrill loses, the establishment Dems still won’t learn their lesson. To the detriment of us all.

So curious to see if the teens are pro or anti Huck in Friday’s essay. Then to see how attitudes change after reading James (when I unboxed James I heard a table of kids whisper “yes!” so I think I’ve sold it to them)

Cool curriculum about early Muslims in the US. Also all the curriculum by Hidden Voices is very top notch. They cover Asian Americans, Latines, etc..

And at the same time (and least in NYC) the two social studies exams have had the highest averages and pass rates of the core exams for 6 years.
