It's just now dawning on me that I spent more time drawing the art for this puzzle than any other single thing I've ever made in my entire life. The research, the brainstorming, the sheer pencil milage. Holy shit - it was a LOT!

Lucky 113 backers and just a hair away from being 40% funded. Want the greatest Halloween puzzle ever made? Back it here: www.kickstarter.com/projects/448...

THe actual puzzle won't be manufactured until next year, and only if the kickstarter is successful.
Also, it's not my company or my Kickstarter - I'm the illustrator.

At least 80 hours pure drawing but who knows how many hours mapping it all out, researching, gathering reference, brainstorming, phone calls, revisions, thinking up visual gags, writing endless lists of public domain halloween costume ideas, etc, etc…

Illustration ain't just drawin' pictures, kids!

It's a good thing @adamguzowski.bsky.social agreed to color it too because there's no way in hell I could have finished it myself (or made it look as pretty as he did) because by the time I had finally drawn the last ink line I was SPENT.

Got my first "this is bad bc it's gay" review for "On Guard!" ✌️

It's so subtle and like, not even a plot point which makes this even stranger.

Anyway - On Guard! is available at your favorite book store!

hey anti-hero fans - I'm making a comic about a super villain who thinks he's a good guy. First episode drops on Patreon this Monday, October 13, and I'll have print copies at New York Comic-Con table L-24 all this weekend!

shockingly, none of my friends and family wanted to see 4 strait hours of Tron in IMAX, so I'm going to the NYC Tron Legacy + Tron Ares premiere/double feature by myself tomorrow.

I would have done a 3 movie marathon if given the chance. Can't wait.

The humans in Robotron are all clones - how else do you explain two "brothers" having the same name?!

My favorite version of the Punisher is the one who beats up cyborgs, ninja ladies, karate dudes and Italian-american stereotypes with a battle axe he found on a school bus.

with all the obscure yester-brands being revived as comics lately (Thundaar, Evel Knievel, RoboForce?!) it might be high time for me to dust off my old fan art of The Adventure of Pete and Pete and Robotron: 2084

About 9-10 years ago I was leading a scout camping trip and around the campfire one night one of the kids started rapping the main Hamilton song and all the other scouts spontaneously joined in except for my kids who sat there with a thousand yard stares of fear not knowing WTF was happening.

Also: Hamilton. Lord knows I've tried. I admire it, I understand its cultural importance but I'm simply not entertained. My brain isn't built for enjoying musicals.

(except Steven Universe, which is an incredible piece of art)

(also the Tenacious D movie was very fun)
