Annual fall seed order, yay!

I've been turning my yard from a hot terrible gravel mess into a diverse mini ecosystem. I get seeds from a few places, but Northwest Meadowscapes (northwestmeadowscapes.com) is my favorite.

They put so much care and creativity into their work.
A colorful collection of seed packets and a postcard. At top is a postcard with text "Northwest Meadowscapes, Native Seed of the Maritime Northwest" on top of a field a camas flowers, purple six petal flowers with green stems and leaves. Each seed packet has a Northwest Meadowscape logo on top, which contains a bee, as well as the seed name, a large image in the middle, and additional information such as weight, instructions, and lot at the bottom. The seed packets are from top left to bottom right: 1. American Vetch, a purple packet with a group of bees on top of a meadow with various flowers and seedy flower heads. 2. Farewell to Spring, a pink packet with a butterfly. 3. Globe Gilia, a purple packet with a butterfly. 4. Path Rush, a green packet with no image. 5. Red Paintbrush (my favorite!), a red packet with an image showing small plants above soil and their massive roots below ground. 6. Miner's Lettuce, a light blue packet with a small bug on top of a leaf. 7. Spike Bentgrass, a browish packet with a tractor pulling something.

Lots of stuff in D2, tons of mail and quite a few messages/calls including this response from Rene's campaign.
Text message from the Rene Gonzalez campaign for Portland mayor: "Many public figures, including President Joe Biden, use Wikipedia to share accurate information with the public. In Rene's case, only one of the eight edits was political, valued at just $800. And there were concerns about conflicts of interest within the auditor's office, as the lead investigator had a close relationship with the person who lodged the complaint. The situation has been blown out of proportion, but it doesn't change the fact that Rene is focused on the real issues facing Portland." Followed by another message, showing the top of an image with a photo of Rene Gonzalez and a header saying "Let's go Rene!"

Maple gets a bit confused sometimes about which part goes where when using pillows.
Maple the dog upside down on a couch being silly as usual. Her butt is on a pillow and head wedged in between the cushions. One eye is open, looking at the camera, and her mouth is open. Her back legs are extended far forward meeting her curled front paws. Maple is brown with a white stripe from her nose to forehead and a white belly.

Quintessential Oregon, Christmas day
Maple the dog in a blue rain jacket sitting in front of Multnomah falls in Oregon. The falls, the tallest in Oregon, has two tiers as it cascades down basalt cliffs. The bottom tier is topped by a stone arch bridge and surrounded by green ferns and trees covered in moss.
