Silent Hill 4 is still, I think, vastly underrated with this - maintaining the themes and aura of that town without having to cart us about the big spots.

I think the biggest problem we have is that the hyperbolic language was thrown out wildly during Trump I... when he was still much more bound by norms and adults in the room. It sucked, but it wasn't this bad... and now people are scared of being viewed as reactionary twice over.

A divide in journalism right now that's worth watching is between reporters who understand how bad things are but are mindful of their reputation and not wanting to be perceived as too extreme or hyperbolic and reporters who feel things are so urgent they have to use urgent, clear language.
