An important artifact that raises the question of whether even Russ Vought thinks people talking about his puberty is a little weird

🚨Border Patrol arrested two firefighters who were actively fighting a wildfire at the time.

When the other members of the crew asked for a chance to say goodbye, a Border Patrol agent told the crew member “you need to get the f*ck out of here. I’m going to make you leave.”

“Top of his game”?

This week alone:

- Forced resignation of UVA president
- Antisemitic slur in public speech
- Trump’s DOJ tells big corporations they can ignore statute bc president doesn’t like the law
- Man wrongfully deported to gulag in El Salvador reveals that he was tortured there
"Trump is at the top of his game right now," says our Capitol bureau chief and senior Washington columnist Rachael Bade.

Watch Bade break down his four biggest wins of the past two weeks and read her column about how he dominated Congress here 👇

Dems accepted Rubio, but after that imposed a blanket filibuster, which was far more than the GOP did in 2009 and a bit more than Republicans did in 2021.

One can argue that they could have done more (risking changes that would end the blanket filibuster), but they certainly did slow them down.
What "battle"? Dem Senators haven't "battled" anything. Didn't stop a single nominee. Didn't even slow them down, just agreed to endless unanimous consents.

Then, when presented a situation where all they had to do was nothing, they leaped in to rescue Trump.

Don't lecture us, lecture your caucus.

This is gutting news to throw on top of the fire.
Been sitting with this impending news for a few days. A sad day for the DC filmgoing community. E Street Cinema is closing March 6.

I helped run E Street from 2008-2015. We pioneered service-first filmgoing and made the space an institution for district cinephiles. In many ways, I grew up there.
E Street Cinema, independent movie theater in downtown D.C., to close
Landmark’s E Street Cinema, a hub for indie, foreign and niche films, cited business struggles since the pandemic.

Lots of people explaining why this is wrong, but what I find frustrating is that they don't have the guts to actually endorse the conclusion that Trump is right. They just say "well, closer than you might think!" which gives them "just asking questions!" deniability.
