The new jitter UI stuff is nice too. Actually jitter has got a lot better the last few years. But Touch has a much more standard compositing workflow, and you can leverage python etc. And for pro work it has frame sync etc. But I do love max, and I like how tightly timed etc its paradigm is.

It’s probably that social media is really driving visually impressive work, and Touch is much more capable than Jitter (or certainly easier to get good results with).
