If anyone has emailed saying my company, Discoglobe, is hiring for a freelance position, THIS IS A SCAM. I think they are using LinkedIn connections to find names to manufacture a veneer of legitimacy.

The cool pro thing would be to create a unique email address for every client, so nothing can draw those connections, but that is MORE WORK. Nevertheless, probably better than going to live in shack in the woods with no internet.

One of the worst things about working on contract is that you have to sign up for every business app ALL your clients are using and then every single one of them adds you to sales lists and tries to engage with you like you chose them especially.
