My 8th pick for #LibFaves25 is A DROP OF CORRUPTION by Robert Jackson Bennett. The most flawless mystery I've read in quite some time, or at least since the one before it in the Shadow of the Leviathan series, THE TAINTED CUP. Love Ana and Din.

HOW TO COMMIT A POSTCOLONIAL MURDER by @ninamcconigley.bsky.social is mesmerizing. Georgie's narrative voice is powerful, and even though this short book is incredibly weird, I was hooked. I do enjoy a mystery in which the motive, not the killer(s), is the mystery. #ewgc @prhlibrary.bsky.social

KATABASIS had a bit too much trudging through a wasteland when 2025 has felt like same, but now I can't get the good parts out of my head. The ending was particularly choice (sigh!). Kudos to @rfkuang.bsky.social for another banger, and thanks to @librarylovefest.bsky.social for the DRC #ewgc
