While Fuujin Monogatari had many of the makings of a great anime, it didn't pack enough interesting ideas to fill 13 episodes. A handful were fantastic (loved 3, 10, 11 in particular), but just as many were terribly bland and you can only make so many insightful wind metaphors in so much time.

While it did slow down some in the second half, PriPara remained a thoroughly funny anime to the end and its cast is, for my money, among the best if you consider its size. Very rare to see a show introduce so many characters over 140 eps and have none of them miss. Had a great time with this!

That is about it for seasonals which have caught my attention enough to check out. Currently, it looks like I am watching about half as many anime as I'd watch in a better season so I guess I am open to suggestions for shows I may have overlooked.

Maybe if they had gone with a more Yamada Anna vibe with it (she has the range), but they went full Osanai and it feels very out-of-place to me 🤷
I liked the interpersonal drama in the Wandance premiere and would think some of the themes like dance == freedom have some potential. But really not sure if those points generate enough interest to endure the hideous VTuber dance animation. Also I think Youmiya Hina's voice for Wanda is a miscast ⚠️
