Jim. (Mostly) Professional Unix/Linux system administrator by day, and often by night as well. I read a lot. Me/He/Him, and on occasion, We.
That sounds very intriguing. Luckily I'll have time before the paperback comes out as I have a pile of James R. Benn books, as well as a whole lot of other books, to read.

Absolutely correct. On the other hand, I have a perfectly good pile of filth that takes exception to being compared to that orange bastard. :)

I sent an inquiry to Brick & Mortar Books. I believe I went through them the last time I asked you for a signed copy. If it works out, you also sold 4 Incryptid books, including a pre-order of the latest book.

That would indeed be our Lemmy.

I'm all for it. Let's add Puerto Rico and DC as well. Hell, add American Samoa and US Virgin Islands as well. If we're gonna change the flag, do it right.

I saw that on Facebook yesterday. Very cool that they did that.

Happy couple days after your birthday to you. Small world. Today, for the next 46 minutes, is my birthday as well. Is there a way for one to get a signed copy of your new book? It would go good with my signed copy of "When the Sky Breaks".

I got my copy of the dead tree version sitting in my TBR pile on my desk. In the last couple months I had far too much time, and a pretty good Internet connection, so my TBR pile has greatly grown.

I have 5 of his books and have read them all. All are indeed excellent. In addition to the 3 "& Steel" books I also have his book on Monte Cassino and the book on Montgomery and Rommel. He was working on a WWI book that I suggested should be called "Mud & Steel". I think that is a good title.

Funny enough, it was junior high or high school where I started reading everything I could get my hands on about WWII. That hasn't stopped to some degree. Although because I don't have enough to read, I've recently expanded into reading about WWI.

I have read his book, "Escape From Colditz", several times as well as any other book about Colditz that I could get my hands on. I also liked the British show starring David McCallum. They referenced some of the real escape attempts.

That is one very handsome cat. My Talia looked very similar. I had her for 17 years. She didn't growl so much, but she would make this chirping noise if birds were outside.

I'm not ready to give the full story, but I will say this, if you are not signed up as an organ donor, I implore you to consider it. I won't judge you if you don't, but please consider it. If you are signed up then good for you.

Damn good advice. Although I do try to do what makes both of us happy.

Why would you want to do that, especially if any of the dogs are on it with you?

That shipping from Canada is rough! No matter, happy wedding, you sold a book. :)

Congratulations. I was going to give you a wedding present by finally posting a review of your book to Amazon, but I see I already did so on May 30. I have no recollection of doing so. So instead, I'm going to ask, is there a way one could buy a signed copy of your paperback?
