Love it

It’s a lot better than it used to be (so kudos CCP) but it still has a few bad days a year. I was enjoying a good few lungfuls as recently as the last two weeks.

I’m starting to think it’s time the governments stepped in and brought in harder regulations. These super-powerful, super-rich monopolies are not doing their job and clearly do not have their users best interests at heart. In fact profiting off of their misery. We need to change this.

All this said, I’m 2 behind on AC games as it is. Mirage and Shadows and the thought of playing them actually fills me with a bit of dread. All that open world busywork!

The ship combat and upgrading was so much fun and it has great story. (Even if the modern sections—which I like—were basically forgotten). And to top it all off, pirates!

Pinnacle of the series for me (Odyssey close second). Ship to shore was seamless, the environment was varied and exciting. All the different parts gelled into a cohesive in whole instead of bits feeling tacked on by another dev team.

I may be in Fortnite and The Simpsons… but uh… what was third thing you said?

People who don’t like Avatar don’t like life. Overblown and derivative, fine fine fine. They’re also beautiful works of art. Proof that CG effects can be mesmerising, and bursting with great characters and exciting moments. Underrated gems single-handedly keeping original blockbusters alive.
