If we start going down this route, then is Sound of Freedom more legitimate because it made $250M? What about all these (really great!) festival darlings that make compararive buttons? Box office receipts can tell you plenty things, but quality or non-monetary value are not among them.

Not sure I was prepared for how much I thought 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple slaps. Never has so much been said by so little happening, but I fucking loved it. I’m not surprised it’s tanking at the box office though - this & the predecessor will feel incongruous against the original’s reputation.

Anton Chigurh in No Country For Old Men, in the sequence where he says “If the rule you followed brought you to this...of what use was the rule?”. ‘Rule’ has been replaced by ‘Online Safety Act’

Folks, I’d be amongst the first to call out this nonsense if it was as written in the headline, but - aside from some some mildly presumptive phrasing that I can cross check in the journal - I think we might all be falling afoul of Daily Mail rage-inducing headline clickbait here…
Speaking in a personal capacity, Professor Sattar, who is the chairman of the flagship Obesity Healthcare Goals programme, said normal portions should remain available for everyone but that a second option should be offered with around 25 per cent less food, which would be more suitable for women. The reduced-calorie meals could also be more appropriate for shorter men, who need to eat less than the average man, Professor Sattar and his team from the University of Glasgow and Glasgow Royal Infirmary said. The proposals would apply to pre-packaged sandwiches from supermarkets, ready meals and takeaway pizzas - and even coffee shops offering lattes and cakes. An average man needs 2,500 calories a day and an average woman needs 2,000. An article by the team, published in the medical journal The Lancet Diabetes And Endocrinology, recommends 'food outlets offer at least two portion sizes for single-portion, ready-to-eat products, differing by around 25 per cent - the average difference in energy requirements between men and women'. It adds that smaller portions should be 'priced fairly. The article continues: 'This would also help provide more appropriate portion sizes for all smaller individuals (for example, children and those who are of short stature)! Professor Sattar and his team said the change could help to tackle the slightly higher rate of obesity in women, seen in the latest statistics for England. The academics said that when only one portion size is offered, women, children and shorter people get more calories than they need.
