This is the shadow government you have been warning us about. But because they spoke to your hatred, and demonized those who had less than you, you let them right in.

The oligarchs are controlling everything now. Trump serves their interests. They pull his strings from behind the curtain and he pushes all legal boundaries, claiming more power than he has, but he’s protected by a slim majority in the House and Senate.

The oligarchs are now more powerful than the House and Senate combined. In Maga world either doesn’t understand this or they don’t care.

Even if you think Paul Weiss and Columbia made the only choice available to them in the circumstances (and that's not what I think, to be clear), you have to recognize that there's no future for our democracy if every powerful institution approaches official extortion in this way.

I want to ask all my Republican friends…Do any of you really think it’s a good idea for the US to leave the United Nations? If you truly feel that it is, please tell me how long have you felt this way? Was it in the moments following musk saying he wanted to do just that?

I refuse to refer to Musk’s social media platform as anything other than Twitter. If he doesn’t respect non-cis preferences for names/pronouns, then I don’t respect his renaming of a well branded company

We have to change the narrative from conservative versus liberal to rich versus poor. If so, there will be millions less poor people, and thousands fewer rich people.

If it is morally wrong to make a decision that directly leads to the death of a CEO, is it also morally wrong to make a decision that directly leads to the death and suffering of thousands of people? Which is worse?

Supreme Court 18-year term limit bill should be just the beginning:

— 13 justices
— 7 clerks per justice
— single 18-year term
— binding code of ethics with punishments all the way up to impeachment
— full investigation of corrupt gifts to Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, et al.

People celebrating Luigi Mangione, the health care CEO assassin, need to understand that vigilante killings are not celebrated or in any way condoned in the United States. We are a civilized country that values the lives of its citizens.

I want to hear what he has to say about billionaires killing thousands in the name of personal profit. He has the world’s attention - hopefully he has a message telling the rich that we’re not going to sit back while they murder us…
Luigi Mangione, the alleged killer of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, has now been charged with murder and weapons offenses in New York, per court records. This comes hours after he was charged and arraigned in Pennsylvania.

We shouldn’t accept that a CEO killer must get a national manhunt when cops don’t solve most murders at all. A migrant teenager was just murdered in NYC, cops just killed a guy here — the lives of these other people are worth just as much as that CEO.

People not elected to government should not have the power to reshape the government, especially people whose obscene wealth depends on the government functioning a certain way.

This is not a hot take.

It's just plain common sense.

Now that we know the NYPD has the capability to track a CEO’s killer all across town, will they use that same technology to track the perpetrator of a hate crime?
