Eh, I feel like we're still not here yet.
Something I've always liked about Twitter is that when something fun happened, you could (kind of still can, but it's significantly degraded) search for that thing and see people talking about it.
Feels like bluesky is still too niche/patchy for that.

Resisting the urge to just live-react to sports things as though I have some sort of brand and not, like, two posts and a couple followers.

My six year old's Christmas list exclusively contains Lego city stuff. He is singularly obsessed. He's been talking for months about his grand vision to build his own Lego city. It's his magnum opus.

Shout out to my HS buddy in my group chat who regularly lectures me on "war crimes," as though *he* was the Army lawyer and *I* was the freelance magazine copy editor.
I want to offer you this thought about international law; specifically IHL/LoAC. Lawyers, statesman, and military officers across the world have debated its purpose, scope, and value for centuries. If you think you gained new insight into it from watching news and scrolling social media… you didn’t.
