Lobster fishery off Bruny Island in TAS closed on eve of the opening of fishing season due to antibiotic use by the salmon farms.

A 300 million year old lycopsid tree from Brymbo Fossil Forest, on display in National Museum Cardiff (was National Museum of Wales). The trunk is about 30cm diameter.
