Ben Johnson having his worst game of the year

Yet when the Bears lose today, Caleb will receive more blame than that of what Justin Herbert got, what Jalen Hurts got, and what CJ Stroud will probably get

1: he’s definitely winning!
2: first year I like the traitors more than the faithfuls

The actual lesson: students mostly engaged, mostly working hard, and working towards a goal

The Administrator who walks in 20 minutes into the lesson and leaves after 5 minutes, talking to no one: I didn’t understand the lesson or objectives

AP Lang S2 independent read.

It would be a much better book for AP Literature with thorough analysis, but I love the book so much I had to get it in my school’s curriculum.

EDGE and safety are priorities for me with their first two picks, with DT and CB depth needs after that.

Bears don’t have a lot of cap space, every safety is a FA, and Jarrett and Dayo are too expensive to cut next year.

Agreed all around, especially on Caleb being more durable and the Bears having the better young roster.

But…I still wouldn’t bet the over on 10.5 wins right now for next year. That defense…

I think the Jayden Daniels analogy is still ongoing next year. Less about which QB is better, more can Caleb & the Bears repeat on their successes in 2026. Can the Bears handle the expectations & challenges of a 1st place schedule next year? Because if not, Caleb will get the criticism - fair or not

For players who are banged up, I agree.

But earning the 2 seed is important. The Bears would avoid the juggernaut of the NFC West teams and gives them two home playoff games if they win week 1 of the playoffs.

Why do I think “samurai” when I see this photo?

Bears too

Jason Benetti is number 1 and I will hear no other arguments!

I can deal with the White Sox being awful…losing Benetti will never not sting

Question: is it okay for the Tulane coach to leave his job? Whether the coach leaves now or weeks later, what’s the difference?

& if Lane Kiffin wants to leave for LSU, it’s better that he leaves now so Ole Miss can move forward. I’d say it’s more stinky for a coach to hang around after the fact
December 1, 2025 at 12:17 AM
It’s just the way the football calendar works though - programs looking for a new coach go after coaches in December.

As far as in conference? Also not a big deal for me. LSU is a football blue blood - many coaches would do exactly what Lane Kiffin just did
December 1, 2025 at 12:07 AM
Curios: why can some coaches leave one job for another and it’s fine whereas others are now a villain?

Apples and oranges comparison, but I think of Bill Self leaving Illinois (a really good job) for Kansas (a great job).

As an Illinois fan, it was a gut punch, but I understood it

Caleb Williams is good - he needs to fix what more than anything to be great?
November 24, 2025 at 3:49 PM
1: in theory, yes

2: but if a student can pass without ever being present for instruction, was it a challenging class / class that taught new skills and challenging assessments?

3: I don’t love final exams, but if they are an opportunity for an automatic pass, they need to be almost unfairly tough

And honestly, when we do this, they normally nod and laugh and acknowledge us rocking out that day
