Wow. Even if it was 5F, with decent cold weather gear you can be comfortable. I mean America had Alaska and the upper Midwest where it gets pretty cold. Thermals, layers, wind proof jacket, etc.
And Starfield is the future with space suits!

What I DON'T need is for AI to generate new text from a single sentence that I then have to read through and triple-check it didn't subtly hallucinate errors.

I want hyper-specific AI to do smart things that somehow still take a lot of time.
Like take my tables and make good graphs out of them. I spend way too much time futzing with graph settings for things that should be simple.
