Whatever hardware Jony and Sam bake together, there is no universe in which it could make me at least 1% as excited as Ricoh's announced GR iv. Sorry 🤷🏻‍♂️

Linear pojmenoval jednoho ze svých agentů ‘Codegen’ a druhého ‘Chatprd’. Asi u nich nikdo nemluví česky. 💁

The 2018 one still feels pretty up to date, just missing AI Consultant

About time. We’ll see a lot more of this soon.
Lloyd's of London insurers launch a product to cover companies for losses caused by AI chatbot errors; the policies are developed by YC-backed startup Armilla (Financial Times)

Companies deploying AI to gain efficiency* will reinvest the saved £££ into better working conditions, shorter work week, better customer benefits and through doing so inch us closer to the utopia**

Cool interview. As an owner of 4 speakers, I’m biased, but

A) I’m very disappointed by the Symfonisk demise. It was such a cool, well-designed product. An embedded computing dream

B) the app release - I’d *LOVE* to be a fly on the wall in those usability sessions that gave them false confidence

Every (tech) company who thinks they can get away with (employee-centric) culture as AI drastically changes the market power leverage is in the FA stage.

I’m already stocking up with popcorn for the inevitable FO segue.

I’m doing a quick dive into this all-time-greatest* to look up something, and scratching my head how it happened that the design community lost so much of its heritage :///

* Can you guess the book and the author? ;)

I love books, and so of course I’ll be celebrating by reading tonight :-)

I’ll be reading this amazing book I was given by someone who I really value and consider a great inspiration.

What are *YOU* reading today?

C'mon @anthropic.com what the heck? Why?

I was a paying, happy and frequent user until now.
Guess it's time I look for an alternative.

I have a real problem with AI product review summaries.

But it's not about the method (AI) but about the concept.

Summaries iron out the little details of individual experience, because, well, by definition they are summaries.

Gosh that’s wrong on so many levels.

Financials, ethics, responsibility and accountability aside (I know…), the difference is if so hired a real person I don’t need to prompt them about every single thing.

Instead, 1/2

Even a roll of dynamite makes funky little sparks and fireworkses before it self-immolates and self-destructs.

We just need to ensure not to stand too close when it finally goes off.

The World of Tim Burton at the @designmuseum.bsky.social is pretty awesome. It's fantastic to see so much of Tim's amazing art in one place.

“If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses,” is fake.

The real quote was “If I had asked horses what they wanted, they would have said faster people.”

And it wasn't Henry Ford who said it, but 19th century agricultural engineer Heinrich Ford-Brod from Silesia.

I saw some takes like ‘he blew his chances’ - c’mon, let’s be serious for a moment.

This was choreographed and well thought through. A very deliberate. Just a theatre.

There were no chances to start with.
