EUNAVFOR in greenland territorial waters. It can serve as a deterrence against China as well as the U.S. nothing disrupts a wargaming outcome like a couple of submarines

Maar het zou toch te absurd zijn als Rusland met een gdp van de Benelux het reilen en zeilen gaat dicteren binnen Europa. Dat is niet houdbaar, ook niet voor Rusland zelf. Europa moet gewoon de broek optrekken, de Baltische zee blokkeren en lukoil bannen.

In ieder geval doet Europa er goed aan om een EUNAVFOR voor Groenland op te richten naar analogie met de anti piraterij. Dit kan onder het motto om de Chinese invloed in te dammen, maar het zou in een keer ook de calcul voor een inname drastische veranderen

In ieder geval doet Europa er goed aan om een EUNAVFOR voor Groenland op te richten naar analogie met de anti piraterij. Dit kan onder het motto om de Chinese invloed in te dammen, maar het zou in een keer ook de calcul voor een inname drastische veranderen
Europa zou een EURNAVFOR voor Groenland moeten oprichten, zoals ze momenteel tegen piraterij doen. Gewoon een paar fregatten en duikboten en de VS calcul gaat veel te duur worden voor militair ingrijpen

Frankenrijk heeft al wat military posturing gedaan. Maar het is te weinig en te weinig eu gecoördineerd. www.politico.eu/article/fran...

Voor mij is eurobonds idd de oplossing die gealineerd is met internationaal recht, wat een basis principe zou moeten zijn voor Europa

Europa zit op een traject waarbij ze tegen 2030 Ukraine en de Baltische staten kwijtspelen aan Rusland, Groenland (en dus ook nato) kwijtspelen aan de VS. Een echte naakte keizer en dit allemaal uit schrik voor populistisch rechts

Europa faalt test na test (veroordeling Israël, sancties Rusland, China strategie, Venezuela,…) ik vrees dat dit niet veel goed voorspeld mbt de coalition of the willing en de garanties voor Ukraine. 1/2

I would create strategic ambiguity, which inflates the cost of intervention and forces them to recalculate and till the point of “not worth it”. Submarines is the key tool for this. I would indeed hold back in provoking a boxing game, cause we would loose.

Eu needs to come up with a plan. Like let’s start with a EUNAVFOR like we have to curb piracy, but then for Greenland. A couple of fregattes supported with a submarine would already send a signal without being too provoking.

This is not up to Denmark te solve. Eu needs to come up with a plan. Like let’s start with a EUNAVFOR like we have to curb piracy, but then for Greenland. A couple of fregattes supported with a submarine would already send a signal without being too provoking.

Vooral omdat alle argumenten rond geopolitieke achtertuin en critical materials direct toepasbaar zijn op Groenland. Iedere regering die dit niet veroordeeld hypothekeert de Europese veiligheid aan de west flank.
