Funny, in October 2024 this same Mike Johnson said there was no rush for Congress to come back and fund FEMA and that was with Hurricane Helene making landfall. He was perfectly fine with "real danger for real people" then. In fact, he WANTED it. A@@hole.

Additionally, Democrats need to know what "victory" looks like. In this case, Congressional Dems laid a very low mark - basically delay existing health insurance/program cuts. IMO that woefully misses the mark, but they cannot accept one iota less.
