I’m pro-postal service, but I don’t know what the hell you’re talking about. All my local post offices are hell holes.

I hope the my DMV brethren gave him a tongue lashing while he was at National

If only!

I’m not talking about liberal politics. I’m talking about facts and history. To be clear, this is what I wrote my master’s thesis about and as a scholar of Africana Studies, my discipline is far from liberal.

I think it’s a miscalculation to say that our societal issues are only a result of class dynamics when race has always been used as tool by capitalists to sow division and create classes of people in the first place. You cannot have a conversation about economic class division w/o talking about race

Thank you for showing me so much grace and not assuming the worst. I appreciate it so much.

At least in our country, this is true.

100%, but I would argue this timeline is not new. So many US presidents have committed what are considered war crimes. This includes Obama which most people do not want to talk about. The only difference is that this administration’s crimes are affecting the day to day lives of Americans.

Crazy how the racism really kicks into high gear with dementia.

Literally saw this post, then this:
When a cancelled performer reënters the culture, we expect them to offer us a great work, channelling their newfound clarity into the finest art they’ve ever made. With his new comedy show and début novel, has Louis C.K. met the bar?

Louis C.K.’s Next Chapter
In a new standup special, and a début novel, the comedian navigates murky, post-#MeToo terrain: not quite exiled, not quite welcomed back.

I do oats, walnuts, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon and nutmeg and then put marshmallows on top of that.

Hard third (some already seconded). I remember having my first crush in pre-k at age 4. I was always “boy-crazy” throughout school, but I never remember my parents or anyone asking me if I had a bf. I didn’t come from that type of family at all. It was just who I was.

If it weren’t for the fact that I don’t actually believe Haitians should have to deal with our shit, I’d say send them to Haiti. See how far they get. The result might be exactly what they deserve.

Hell. I had a teacher in middle school who was married to a former student! This was in the late nineties/ early aughts and he was not an old man. Probably in his mid-40s or so.

Oh, my apologies. You’re in the UK. You’re probably not getting the same KFC ad there as in the US, but yea, bleak times.
November 18, 2025 at 8:45 PM
This brings to mind the new commercial branding I’ve been seeing for KFC: “The colonel lived so we could chicken.” If that’s not the oily whiff of christo-fascism, I don’t know what is.
