Just learned that @colsonwhitehead.com has a film adaptation of Nickel Boys coming out January 3, and I’m worried about the few who’ll walk into it thinking “holiday matinees are light-hearted fun!”

Just started rereading Leslie Marmon Silko’s Almanac of the Dead because it seems timely, but all of the Moby-Dick posts I’m seeing have me lining up another Massive U.S. Novel in the queue.
