Okay somewhat decent news.
I actually only owe 3.3k in total and they said they're going to let the courts know I've made payments and we will reach on some kind of payment plan.
So still urgent but slightly less urgent

Well just when I was feeling okay, I got the court hearing notice that I have to pay $5.7k in order to keep my home (not including what I owe already and paid today).

Here's the proof and court is the 16th of October.

I need so much more help than I realized.

Fifth week in a row I made it out to run with the District Running Collective. This one was dope. Paced myself well, tackled the hills with ease, and the last half-mile I went all out and sprinted to the finish and it felt great. If you're in NE DC on Wednesdays, come out.

A lot of these AAA or "AAAA" (as Ubisoft boasted that one time) games rarely take stances on anything. Keeping everyone appeased and maximizing audiences lead to some milquetoast stuff.

Idk, back in 2018 I was ready for Far Cry 5 to make any sort of statement on far right cults in the American West, then it dropped and they did the usual thing Ubi does with their mid-ass open world games. It would hurt worse to have this game drop and ultimately say or do nothing interesting.

I hate to say it but the majority of the country is not going to die on the hill of trans rights. We can’t protect ANY groups if we can’t win a national election, so purity tests only serve to make specific groups feel triumphant. That’s not “erasing” them; it’s long-horizon strategy.

Went here in 2024 and it was astonishing seeing the countryside from the rooftop. Evora is such a charming and dope town within mideval walls. Portugal was a time!
