I work in media and live near Mrs Parton, haven’t had the pleasure but many many of my coworkers have worked with her through the years and they all report that she’s truly a class act. I can’t tell you how rare that is.

My brain is fried from too many years paying too much attention to the far right. I used to think maybe I was being alarmist due to that media diet. I’ve realized if anything I wasn’t screaming loud enough. The line has already been crossed.
Well, the Melvins may only give you about an hour and fifteen minutes of music when you see them live, and I’m old as hell to boot, but they killed it last night as always. First real show since the plague and I forgot how great live music is.

This may not count cause it isn’t an injury per se, but I’ve seen it happen with a person entering into severe dementia. Went from being severely abusive to the kindest person you ever met almost overnight. Definitely created a wild kind of emotional whiplash in their family.

There are voices, real media voices in the United States, that are screaming for witch burnings to begin again. These people have followers that might even believe them. This a real thing and it is happening right now.
Look at these agents marching in step-by-step. Don’t fall into their rhythm. It may be tempting to say, “I know this story already.” But we don’t, because it’s advancing everyday. It’s moving. Reporters & everyday people are risking freedom to cover it. Let’s read the words.

Nothing matters to these people. I was there on the ground. I talked to folks in the crowd. I’ve never seen a group of people seem to sleepwalk through event like I did that day. Thousands of eyes of zealous fervor. They were willing to believe anything. And they still are.
