Spending my afternoon nursing an awful head cold and watching Ladyhawke. My sister had a huge cardboard cut out of Rutger Hauer that a friend "liberated" from a video store. 🤫😄

It's that time of year when people start posting photos and videos of themselves having fun killing deer in the woods. Nothing like a Facebook scroll & a guy dragging a dead deer to his car. I get it people eat them blah blah whatever. Can't wrap my head around the part where they say it's so "fun"

I made a rather tasty beef and root vegetable stew tonight, which I'm currently eating with a slice of rosemary cottage bread, a chunk of 5 year old Wisconsin cheddar, and a sharp pickle. All I'm missing is the freshly poured ale and ambiance of a British pub 🇬🇧
