I remember hanging out with George Takei in Milwaukee during the premiere run of STTMP, and us deciding to crash a screening at one of the large theaters in town. George was asked to introduce the film from the proscenium. It was glorious.

I returned to the theater to see the original theatrical release of Star Wars as many times as I could in 1977. It pleases me that we’ll get a chance to see the original version on the big screen again after 50 years, and I do hope we have an opportunity to own a copy on 4K physical media.

Awesome release. Also had the opportunity to hear the score performed live to screen in LA, attended by Jerry’s wife Carol.

Have been enjoying my copy just this weekend.

In Bread and Circuses they don’t deny that they all swear an oath to die rather than violate the Directive. But in the very same episode they proceed to violate it chapter and verse. #TOSSatNight
