The ever moving goalposts! I do appreciate Bitwarden, as a portable, device-agnostic way to manage passkeys (passwords, 2FA)... It has definitely made my life more liveable during the great enshitification

Windows high-contrast modes and Safari coming soon.

Very curious that Chrome supports more colors in Dark mode than it does in Light mode.

Hopefully other bodies follow suit... Like this shit-show basically greenlighting the modern version of conversion therapy, whereby anti-trans therapists can tout their services as merely exploratory, and can't be reported for breaching their accreditation: www.psychotherapy.org.uk/news/ukcp-gu...

The bar is so low in tech right now, that ethics are just seen as "bloat".

They talked about having a "human in the loop" to keep their AI accountable but can never tell you under which circumstances the human will say "no" - although probs just when the bid is too low!

One benefit is that it can help differentiate AI with spoofed user agents from legit bots who respect robots.txt (the spoofers have cheeto dust on their fingers)

At least there's that! Might need to get into gaming to escape the garbled monstrosity that will rule over the ruins of the societies that we bankrupted to pay for it.

Happy to count myself among those! I do find irksome that when it *is* remembered it is only remembered as an injustice of forced isolation... We should also remember we did a tough thing to be proud of & saved lives. I've seen YP viewing their problems *only* through the lens of damage, which... 😕

That feels like it's putting it lightly... in some of the worst parts of it they're not just complicit, they're the self-aware, intentional, and deliberate force *behind* the harms.

Thank you for sharing! It's definitely millions, our last estimate for users since Heather started Scarleteen is 90million and that's not counting people who have accessed their books, or recieved information second-hand, or free impacts of what volunteers have done since being at Scarleteen.
