In all of human history has there ever been a time where people treating another group as subhuman, unequal, or less worthy of rights bc of race, religion, ethnicity, nation of origin, etc. EVER been looked upon later with anything but shocked contempt? No reason. Just wondering.

Anyone who isn’t ranking Auburn 1st is being intellectually dishonest. Everyone knows they’re the best AND most deserving team in college basketball being ranked 1st. It is absolutely silly to justify doing otherwise.

Auburn is incredibly good at basketball right now. And Johni Broome is the best player in college basketball.

Hey, @garyparrishcbs.bsky.social , I am a little confused as to how Kansas “locked down” #1 when Auburn just dominated the same UNC team on a neutral that Kansas struggled with at home. And Auburn has better wins overall and better analytics. Seems like preseason and Blue Blood bias.

Ah yes, expansive, unilateral executive actions. Very liberty. Much Constitution. Libertarians who supported this guy should either be very embarrassed, or start admitting they don’t care about Constitutional government.

Walmart is preparing to raise prices if Trump delivers on his tariffs promises.

Walmart CFO:

"We never want to raise prices... But there probably will be cases where prices will go up for consumers."

Remember, foreign countries don't pay the tariffs.

You pay the tariffs.

Lots of stories about how mass deportations will spike food prices and cause inflation. But as Tom Bonier noted, only one published before Election Day...

It is really sad. As I said elsewhere, seeing Angela McArdle and @lpnational.bsky.social turn the party into a cheerleader for the GOP & an authoritarian is heartbreaking. In 2016, @nsarwark said, “Your tears are delicious and your parties will die.” THAT is the LP I want.
She’s just trying to be as embarrassing as possible now
