I am no historian but I would bet that this is the first time the Social Security Administration has ever sent a blatantly partisan announcement. And to send it on not-Independence Day is especially reprehensible. (If you receive this, I wouldn't follow the link to your account.)

Remember when Mike Johnson said he'd make public policy based on the Bible. Now he's just a grinning ghoul taking food and health care away from children and seniors while making billionaires richer. I'm glad he believes in Hell because that's where he's going.

You are on the west coast. I lived in NY most of my life & these Juncos have always been my favorite. I think they look like Easter eggs with their bellies dipped in a different color dye. Now I'm in Oregon & Juncos have just a black head so they look like little bandits. Still my favorites.
