My old friend Tree.

She stood at the confluence for a century. Finally fell just a few years ago. I tried so hard to do her justice and always tried for a good shot. Never quite sure I actually got it. I'm going to miss that old tree, she challenged me to be a better photographer.

Um. What the fuck?

“Elon was very effective. He knows those computers better than anybody. Those vote counting computers. And we ended up winning Pennsylvania like in a landslide. It was pretty good. Thank you to Elon.”

I have always loved public libraries, but having young children has exponentially increased my gratitude and sense of indebtedness to them. Our local library is such a huge part of our lives. The books, the programming, the very intentionally curated kids’ section. It’s all such a gift.

The dog got two stuffed animal toys yesterday for Christmas. He has shown them to me no less than 6 times today. And every time, I have made a big deal about how I saw the toys & was very impressed by them because nothing is sadder than a 110 lb. Lab when you do not match their level of excitement.
