Vance is worse than Trump. Corruptio optimi pessima. Trump’s brand of xenophobic demagoguery is partly explicable by his crass materialism and general ignorance. Vance by contrast is an educated man, sophisticated, thoughtful, religious. Vance is worse because he knows better.
