Don't ever buy a Balsum Hill tree. Last year about 1/8 of the lights were out. This is what i got this year when we plugged it in. (Over $1k). Meanwhile the cheap one that I bought for the office 11 years ago ($200)? Still working.

So I got started late today. I was being held down and used as a kitty heating pad by the foster cat as she sat on my chest. Rules are rules. I couldn't get up until she did. First time that's happened. We're 10 months in. Eventually she will admit that she likes me. Good #caturday start to the day

I'm really sorry. Missy will be glad that you found Jinx. My beloved, Thelma, passed away a year ago. 2 mos later, I was asked to foster an older cat which is now a permanent addition to our home. A few months after that, a kitten came into our life. Now all live together peacefully. (Mostly 😉)

Early #caturday post. The wall kitten got her kitty hysterectomy today. Within an hour of being home, she had successfully freed herself from the collar. I put it back on her, but may not do that many more times. I'm worried she would hurt herself more fighting it than if I just leave it off.

Had lunch with an old friend that I hadn't seen in a while, then spent the afternoon with family. Now at home watching football while the foster cat uses me as a throne. Good #caturday ending to a good day. Sometimes you've just got to breathe and take a break from *waves hands around* all this.

Sitting together with both the foster cat and the wall cat. The peaceful moment lasted about 3 minutes before some hissing recommenced. We're gonna get there.
