9 October 1932 | A French Jewish girl, Rose Aboulafia, was born in Paris.

In April 1944 she was deported to #Auschwitz with her mother Victoria and younger sister Odette. They were murdered in a gas chamber.

10 October 1944 | SS detained four female Jewish prisoners: Ella Gartner, Róża Robota, Regina Safir & Estera Wajsblum.

They were involved in smuggling explosives that were used by the Sonderkommando prisoners during their revolt on 7 October 1944.

The women were hanged on 6 January 1945.

11 October 1941 | Dutch Jewish boy, Heinrich Lange, was born in Amsterdam.

He was deported to #Auschwitz from #Westerbork in July 1942. He was murdered in a gas chamber after arrival selection with his mother Berta. His father Hans perished in the camp in September 1942.

It was never going to be Trump. In fact they gave the prize to a pro democracy fighter. Seems to me the committee is recognizing Trump with this choice, just not the way he so desperately wants.
