It can be a minor hassle looking that info up and reporting it out, but it’s important if you want your work to be reproducible. Just about every institution’s subscription is at least a little bit different.

Keep an eye on any changes to your subscription over time, too.

Had a natural experiment fall in my lap last week. Faculty did a sysrev search in OpenEvidence. Her mentor, a frequent collaborator, said “you need to talk to the librarians,” so now I can go head to head with the machine.

Hope I don’t end up like John Henry.
