We barely understand what we think. We certainly don’t understand what really goes on in another primate’s mind. Assuming we could understand what a fly’s thoughts might be like, no matter how simplistic they might be, is some seriously hubristic anthropomorphism.

When you thought you lived in a stable western democracy but some of your coworkers and neighbors start putting party before country to get ahead, then your husband is disappeared. Terrifying and poetic at the same time. Highly recommended.
