My decks don’t overlap to make me play one over any other, but these are definitely my top few. Training Grounds and Brainstorm are probably in the same spot, just more popular cards. Also Phantasmal Bear and Realmwright are some pet cards of mine

I’ve been working on building my Book of Vile Darkness R0 deck for a while, all trying to get Vecna out. It also wants to utilize the nim zombies from Mirrodin and amass other zombie tokens for a wide army. Grond is now the legal backup commander option if I am not permitted to use Vecna/BoVD

I didn’t have any time to make it to Gen Con last week, but I did get to stop at Moonshot Games in Noblesville, IN to see @gavinverhey.bsky.social and talk to him about #PDH and the new vehicle/spacecraft commander rules with my daughter. Wish I had more time but I’m still grateful for the talk!

I’m pretty cheap but the most expensive cards I had were the foil and prerelease promo versions of Bloodletter of Aclozotz I traded the other day for store credit at my LGS and got a foil borderless Vaultborn Tyrant from the booster I bought. $45 card and leftover credit for 2 cards I wasn’t using

My girlfriend saw some Innistrad Remastered collector boosters while at Target and grabbed a few for me. She’s always luckier than me when it comes to pulling chase cards, but 4 Cathars Crusades across 3 of the 4 packs she bought seems a little over the top.

Turns out, Brudiclad and Reckless Fireweaver are really good when combined with Saheeli and Stridehangar Automaton. Turning old tokens into Reckless fireweavers and making two artifact tokens per token after leads to a lot of damage.

My partner sent me pictures from her trip to MagicCon to pick up the ticket merchandise from my sadly wasted premium weekend badge. She is not into Magic but I think she had some fun walking around and seeing everyone enjoying their time together. Hopefully get some good pulls from #MCChicago #MtG

Was looking through scryfall and rediscovered this protection/tempo piece from MKM. Seems pretty decent at instant speed especially w/ vehicle support in Aetherdrift. Good against targeted removal and still being able to shut down opposing creatures as $0.15 bulk rare w/ possible synergy #EDH #MtG
