There's at least one design that uses a passive heat source similar to a glow plug, though most use something pulsed. And definitely not with conventional diesel fuel.

It's a real thing, but it's extremely rare and almost everyone seems to be completely immune, no matter how much they use. They're being extremely selective with the numbers they're reporting. Of course 1 in 5 hospital-admitted cyclical vomiting patients use what is usually an anti-emetic.

If outdoor, it's just broken.

If indoor, it's probably because AI detectors often rely on the lighting looking wrong, and super diffuse lighting (like several sources bouncing off ceilings and walls) makes it harder, and they probably turned it up too high.
