How we beat back the corporate takeover of America:

1. Break up corporate monopolies
2. Continue building union power
3. End Citizens United and get big money out of politics

Let’s keep working to unrig the system.

Unlike many of Flock’s cameras, Flock’s Condor cameras track people, not vehicles.

The exposure highlights the fact that Flock is not just surveilling cars—it is surveilling people, and in some cases it is doing so in an insecure way.

Millions of Americans are about to see their health insurance costs skyrocket as ACA subsidies expire at the end of the year.

How did Congress respond this week? By heading home for the holidays.

Never forget this: The GOP’s nonsensical culture war is meant to distract you from corporate corruption, worker oppression, and staggering wealth inequality.

As congress controls the purse, will they do anything to prevent Trump's illegal and theatrical war in Venezuela? Killing people to distract from the Epstein files. This embodies everything wrong in this world.

I think one of the weakest aspects of socialist politics in the US is lack of a consistent message and policy. Sticking to a handful of big items that effect most people would be necessary to gain ground. Thoughts?

It's critical for maintaining longterm safety and freedom in the US to get rid of the Flock cameras that have infested our cities. Constantly being under surveillance to "prevent crime" (which is currently at a multidecade low) is not conducive to a free and open society.

The most transparent administration in history is looking pretty goddamn opaque.

Little bit of social discourse here. The whole "top vs bottom" thing going on in sexual relationships is an unhealthy view of sexual dynamics and evocative of the "alpha vs beta" ordeal that men struggle with. It's some weird power/dominance projection that society is better without.

What would it take to get the US universal healthcare? We know ultimately that it's cheaper and more moral. What's holding us back aside from lobbiest and corruption?
December 17, 2025 at 3:04 PM
The lack of universal healthcate in the US is a moral failing. No one's health care should be pitted against making a profit.

Two days after the House of Representatives voted to restore collective bargaining rights to federal employees, Trump moves to illegally end collective bargaining for TSA workers.

Trump may be the most anti-union president in American history.

The police protect law and order? Did you ever think to ask whose law and order? They don't really have concerns for crime or protection, that's a deflection from their true purpose. They protect the system created by those in power. That's why they constantly attack protests, no matter the subject.
