Fascinating. Was it identified to be correlation or causation? We know eating a lot of processed foods increases colon cancer rates as well and marathon runners need to eat a lot obviously. I'm also a bit skeptical of extreme forms of exercise, like marathon running, for general longterm health.

That running actually isn't bad for your joints and actually may be beneficial. The myth that running is bad for them is still wide spread and I'd love it to be dispelled.

There's then also fhe issue of what constitutes a crime and who and why laws are made. Laws aren't necessarily moral nor right and have an obligation to be resisted and changed when so.
