I think it is more coherent if you think of moral language as evaluating the extent to which people are trustworthy. There are surely factors that make people objectively safer or more dangerous in a given context, don't you think?

Haha yeah, I meant that Christ is to some extent relativising the individuality of the members in this metaphor rather than saying that it is pro-polyamory!

Ironically the Bible uses the "bride of Christ" metaphor to describe the entire church (ie not putting much emphasis on the individuality of each of its members!)

Another interesting thing to me is that "Saturn's day" only seems to feature in languages outside of Greek and Romance, where you'd think the connection with Saturn would be stronger. All those languages replaced it with some version of "Sabbath".
