I admit, it did seem a little weak. Much of the case seemed based on public information. Maybe that was just a sign of how blatantly Trump was, but I did expect more confidential sources.
Technically the statement "He charged Trump for official acts" isn't false, because he was charged and then the concept of immunity for "official acts" were invented by SCOTUS. So he was recharged for "non-official" acts.
All law enforcement has the authority to use lethal force when under imminent threat of bodily harm. The question then is, do Americans want unqualified and untrained military attack dogs purposely putting themselves into provocative postures to solicit that response.
Now: Hundreds assembling in the Chicago Loop for a march and rally to demand the National Guard leave town. Folks chanting "Donald Trump you racist clown! You're not welcome in this town!"
Pritzker: "He wants to militarize major cities because he wants us to get used to the idea of troops on the streets. I believe he's gonna post people outside of polling places and if he needs to in order to control those elections, he'll assume control of the ballot boxes & count the votes himself"
Trump: "We took the freedom of speech away because that's been through the courts and the courts said you have freedom of speech, but what has happened is when they burn a flag it agitates and irritates crowds."
So.... the DOJ is preparing dossiers on all of Trump's political opponents. DOJ (without any legal justification) is now investigating every Democratic politician.
Let's be clear, the federal government has absolutely no authority to compel you to do free work for them. USA got rid of slavery over 100 years ago. Everyone (including states) has the freedom of choosing if they will help the feds do their job. This is a fundamental cornerstone of federalism.
Donald Trump Jr: "They want to call someone who took a selfie somewhere within 200 miles of DC an insurrectionist on January 6, but directly threatening to withhold help from federal law enforcement doing their job -- that's insurrection."
Don't focus on the entire field of issues. Pick one little corner, one single issue and work on it for one day and then the next day. If one day that single issue is rectified, move onto the next.
