At least 6 unhoused Chicagoans have been abducted by federal agents since September: 2 have been released, while the status of the remaining 4 is unknown. But the Chicago Coalition to End Homelessness is investigating reports of an additional 19 people disappeared.

Agents reportedly abducted one man from this Dunkin at Belmont and Milwaukee around 9:30am before speeding off.

Dana Briggs, who is 70 years old, and Paul Ivery, who has an intellectual disability and was asked, while in federal custody, to waive his Miranda rights.

New: the federal government has dropped its case against Ray Collins and Jocelyne Robledo, a couple who had faced felony charges for allegedly assaulting federal agents during a protest outside the Broadview ICE facility on Sept. 27.

The govt moved to drop its complaint against them this morning.

My full anger is at ICE but also for a gov claiming: “I will stand in the way of Tom Homan going after people who don’t deserve to be frightened in their communities, who don’t deserve to be threatened, terrorized.
