When we heard reports this morning that DOGE may have entered NOAA & NIST, we showed up to see for ourselves.

We’ll continue to do everything we can to protect our Federal labs across Colorado.

Grateful for the opportunity to drop-off some breakfast this morning for workers at the Forest Service in Fort Collins.

House Republicans’ refusal to negotiate an agreement to end their shutdown is ridiculous.

Enough of the political games!

Grateful to all the constituents who came by my “Congress on Your Corner” table in Old Town Fort Collins on Sunday.

I’ll keep showing up — from bus-stations to farmers markets, parks to main streets, and everywhere in between!

While House Republicans continue their 4-week vacation, I spent yesterday meeting with constituents in Fort Collins.

No pre-screened questions.
No attendance limits.
No “handlers.”

Just me and my team listening to folks in Old Town at our “Congress on your Corner” table and providing resources.

15 years together, and ten years since our wedding date — what an incredible journey it has been. From your courageous battle with cancer to the countless sacrifices you make for our family, I’m reminded everyday how truly lucky I am.

Happy anniversary to my wonderful wife Andrea!

Grateful to visit with folks at our office — including folks impacted by the government shutdown — and to answer calls from constituents across our district.

While Republicans refuse to govern, our offices in Fort Collins, Frisco, Boulder, & DC all remain open — please continue to reach out to us!

The Trump administration’s cancellation of over $550 million in Federal funds for energy projects across Colorado — including critical programs at Colorado State University in Fort Collins — is UNLAWFUL.

We will use every legal and legislative tool to reverse it.
Trump administration slashes $550 million in Colorado clean energy grants. Democrats call it revenge.
Mostly blue states, like Colorado, are losing $7.5 billion in federal clean energy grants. Democrats say it is an act of political revenge.

Your daily reminder — as President Trump’s conduct becomes more unhinged — that there is nothing he does that Republicans in Congress won’t defend.

Case in point.

From our 16 town-halls (more than all members of Colorado’s delegation combined), to our “Congress on your Corner” events at bus stops, main streets, farmers’ markets and more —

We’ll keep showing up, each and everyday!

No matter how long the federal government is shut down, our work across Colorado's 2nd District will continue.

Thanks to all the folks who stopped by our "Congress on your Corner" event at the Table Mesa Park & Ride today — grateful to hear your insights and suggestions! 📋✏️

I’m doing everything I can to minimize the harm to folks in Northern Colorado & on the Western Slope as a result of the government shutdown.

We’ve also taken steps to ensure all my offices will remain OPEN and available to constituents — because that’s our job.

Please do not hesitate to reach out!

Many Republican Members of Congress have apparently closed their offices.

I have not.

We work for the people of Colorado — and our offices in Fort Collins, Boulder Frisco, and D.C. will remain OPEN!

Grateful for the opportunity to visit with the hardworking folks at NOAA in Boulder & drop off some breakfast items.

As we grapple with the Republican-initiated government shutdown, I hope you’ll join me in thanking & supporting the Federal workers being impacted — we owe them a debt of gratitude!

The Congress must reassert itself as a coequal branch of our government.

Enough is enough!

Republicans are capitulating to President Trump at every turn. Now they’re demanding passage of a bill exacerbating the cost of living crisis that they created.

My answer is simple — NO.

Right now is a watershed moment for our republic. It’s never been more important for us to stand up for our hard fought rights & freedoms.

Proud to receive Colorado Common Cause's 2025 Champions for Democracy award last week — and recommit to the work ahead to defending our democracy.

Onwards.

The Capitol this morning is a ghost-town.

Why?

Because House Republicans would rather shut down the government than reverse the devastating cuts to healthcare for working families.

Earlier this year, I was proud to lead an effort to stop the sell-off of millions of acres of public lands in Colorado & across the country — and thanks to YOUR voices, we succeeded.

Today on National Public Lands Day, let’s recommit to doing everything we can to protect our treasured public lands!

Disgraceful.

Shameful,

And one of the worst abuses in the history of the Department of Justice.

The President’s politicization of DOJ is doing generational damage to the rule of law.

10 hours, 5 counties, and a lot of miles! 🚙🚙🚙

After a busy week in DC, grateful to spend the weekend traversing our district — canvassing with volunteers registering citizens to vote in Longmont, helping neighbors in need at the FallFest in Black Hawk, and rallying folks in Edwards.

Citizens United v. FEC has unleashed a flood of political corruption in Washington.

I’m teaming up with @schiff.senate.gov and Reps. Jim McGovern and Summer Lee to introduce a CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT that would overturn this disastrous ruling and get dark money out of our government.
