If this is to be the last cup game at Goodison, I hope it’s a win that launches Everton on a proper run. So many compelling storylines ✨🏆

Bournemouth first though, and they’ve been a source of too many nightmares over recent years

Carlos Alcaraz has linked up with his new Everton teammates following his deadline day move from Flamengo.

The latest training gallery from Finch Farm also highlights the extent of the return of a Sean Dyche nemesis…

While it’s clear David Moyes can see the challenges Everton face, it felt significant that his message seemed to be one of looking forward to the progress the club *should* make, as opposed to focusing on everything that *could* hold EFC back.

Really good to see Stan Mills back in action at Everton. Been an horrendous year for a talented player. Was enjoying life on loan at Oxford before his injury and the road back has been long and tough. Hopefully he can build some momentum and, eventually, pick up where he left off

Dele at Como last night, where he watched Cesc Fabregas' side beat Roma.

The 28-year-old's time at Everton looks likely to be up with Fabregas giving him chance to train in Italy.
Contract ended in the summer but has been working on fitness at Finch Farm.
