Over the last couple nights I decided to scratch a personal programming itch. A little XDP program that logs the SNI from any TLS client hello it sees. No TLS needed.

After re-imaging this thing i got access to it and seem to have P4 working finally! The crazy part? This NIC runs kubernetes!

I bought an Nvidia BlueField2 off ebay. If I console into it over rshim (github.com/Mellanox/rsh...) it's got the hostname "nic-ec2-node11-lax02 " without default username and password. What are the odds this is from an AWS EC2 machine?
