I know people who are scrambling to find ways to extend their visas who were previous on track for PR in a year or two. Not sure how it helps the economy to have people drop out of the workforce to go back to school just to keep their immigration status. Not to mention people who are just leaving.

Who could have guessed that a delusional racist is an unpleasant person to work for? I thought Armstrong new the deal going in.

Great analysis as always by Alex.

It is surprising the degree to which the business side of the coalition was willing to be sidelined. Letting Brodie be a candidate was unhinged. I don't see how Armstrong can be surprised that a delusional racist isn't a pleasant person to work with.

The socred/lib/con political block was kept together by a desire to put aside right-wing differences to keep the NDP out of power. But they haven't been able to do that and the NDP took over the centre. With no uniting motivation, chaos.

It's wild how quickly a constitutional crisis has been papered over. The use of the notwithstanding clause to suppress labour and human rights should be met with a strong response by the feds and strong local opposition. This can't be allowed to blow over or it will embolden more of this.

No consideration for BC? The Liberals are going to get wiped out federally hear if you ram another pipeline across this province. Also what are you doing? Smith is at war with the Charter and she gets a reward. China is changing the market with wind and solar, so we double down on oil?
