The more I integrate, the more fragmented I look. To follow "on Bluesky", please anchor your end of the bridge & look for user @johannab.ca
Also I agree with the person who said leave Kevin O'Leering in Floriduh. Yeet Jordan Peterson right after him.

Then, rework the equalization formula so that transfer payments go to those watersheds achieving net-less-than-zero emissions, since any remaining with a carbon footprint shall be assumed to have adequate fiscal capacity to be burning the world down with their cap&trade gaming.

Abolish Provinces.

Reorganize all Cities in the federation into collaborative regions defined by watersheds.

Each watershed governed by a bicameral legislature with one house formed entirely of members who are entitled to LAND BACK.

Just leave your hand there, what's the problem?

There is XKCD for everything.

If you allow the follow, then users from AP-based services (it's a lot more than just Mastodon) can follow you from whatever host they use. If you wish to follow back, follow the Bridge account and it will allow you to search for either @user.bsky.social.ap.brid.gy or @userdomain.tld via AP.

The the Bridge tool from @anew.social has rapidly evolved to maintain follow-follower connections across protocols without requiring anyone to be here-or-there, but it also has consent built in, so it *asks* you if you will *allow* follow requests from AP-fediverse users first. Then lets me follow.

At this point we probably deserve to go extinct.

Then redevelop the equalization payments formulas so that regions generating emissions-based wealth are considered to have maximum fiscal capacity as they feel they have future to burn and fed equalization is portioned to raise quality-of-life for those who keep their region sustainable.

Each has a bicameral legislative assembly where one house is formed by those entitled to LAND BACK and the other requires members are only seated after publicly demonstrating a rudimentary understanding that water on a slope does not flow counter to gravity.

yeah, I know. But they get away with it because middle schools cannot explain how geography works or that things we have proven as true for over 50 years - like the damages of sprawl and car culture - are actual facts.

I'm rapid-cycling through rage and existential despair the more I study.

We can, we're just too entrenched in the idea that someone else should provide it for us and for free, and the only people willing to step up to that expectation are somewhere between toxic venture capital and completely fascist.

While LinkedIn and Substack are now where you find academia. 😡

There are not two neurons worth of sense or a basic grasp of "liquids flow downslope" in this government

You don't need to be an ecologist or hydrologist to look up "watershed" in a dictionary if you are dropped-out-of-10th-grade ignorant of what conservation areas were even for in the first place.

Monkey punching toilets revisit?

wait is this context collapse? Sorry, I think I tripped into the wrong fediverse, peeps, I'll get back to my side of the bridge.
