And this is the number one reason why they'll stop calling HTS a terrorist organisation. It may still have Al Qaeda's principles and values but it'll will give western governments the excuse to turn away Syrian refugees.
We are in a very strange situation where the same European governments now saying Syria will be a safe place to stay or return to are also still designating HTS, the rebel group that overthrew the government, as a terrorist organization.
